The Joint Buhler/Hoffnungsau/Inman Mennonite Youth group took off for Gulfport, Mississippi on June 25, 2006 and worked on rebuilding houses destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The stayed at Gulfport Mennonite Church, with one afternoon trip into New Orleans. By all accounts the trip was life changing and defining. They returned safely on Saturday, July 1, 2006.
